About These Services

Jail services include assessment, crisis intervention, and psychiatric recommendations for individuals who are experiencing mental health issues who require intervention.

In addition, jail diversion (pre/post‐booking) services may provide alternatives to incarceration for individuals who have a serious mental illness or an intellectual/developmental disability. The Jail Liaison provides training and outreach to community partners regarding the jail diversion program.
